Reservation, change and cancellation policy
First of all, we would like to thank you for trusting Gala Clinic as a specialized healthcare center.
As you know, our activity is based on prior appointments. To ensure the best possible care, it is important to adhere to these appointments and punctuality.
Below, you can review our reservation, change, and cancellation policy for appointments. This information will allow you to understand the cancellation limits of a previously paid or reserved treatment.
All our services can be reserved through the website www.galaclinic.es, or via WhatsApp or phone call at 653 621 758.
Consultations for different patients or companions will not be conducted in a single medical visit. Each patient must reserve their own appointment following the reservation, modification, and cancellation policy so that the physician can exclusively address the questions that the patient may raise and avoid delays that could affect the appointment times of the patients listed below.
Appointment reservation for a service with prepayment
The reservation of any of the services will be made by means of advance payment. By making the payment for the service, it is understood that the reservation is confirmed for the selected date and time.
At the time of requesting the appointment, payment can be made in the following ways:
• Appointments via web: make the payment through the available payment gateway
• Appointments via phone call: we will need your card number for manual entry
• Upcoming appointments at the clinic: payment by physical POS or cash.
From the moment you notify the payment with a receipt, the appointment will be confirmed and reserved. By this, it is understood for legal and contractual purposes that the patient accepts these terms and general conditions of operation, patient care, and medical fees of Gala Dermatología SLU (Gala Clinic), thus both parties are bound by this document in the relationships that may arise henceforth.
If payment is not made within the following 2 hours of the reservation request, the appointment will be considered canceled, and that slot may be filled by another patient.
The amount to be paid as a reservation fee will be €60.
In any case, the amounts paid as a deposit to reserve appointments will be deducted from the total amount on the day of the medical visit or the treatment performed.
Changes and cancellations
If you need to change your appointment or cancel it, it will be free if it meets the criteria outlined in the ‘refunds’ section; however, we would appreciate that communication is made with as much notice as possible.
For changes or cancellations that do not meet these criteria, the payment in reservation will not be refunded.
These conditions will only not apply if there is any cause of force majeure, accident, or severe or urgent illness that prevents notification within the period indicated in the section “returns” that we request, provided that they are justified in writing by a reliable organization.
Unjustifiable reasons such as not being able to find the location of the consultation, sudden or unforeseen work or personal changes, as well as forgetfulness or carelessness on the part of the patients, will not be considered valid.
Delays
Delays directly affect the planning of our agendas and compromise the quality of care.
A maximum delay of 15 minutes will be accepted without causing harm, however, if this delay is anticipated, it will be necessary to notify us by phone or WhatsApp before the service is canceled due to late “no-show of the patient.”
If the delay time excedes 15 minutes, the clinic may determine that it is insufficient time to carry out the service (it will depend on the service itself). If the patient decides to proceed with the service in less time, they accept that it may affect the outcome.
The order of patients may be changed to avoid unfair waiting times for others due to external delays.
Refunds
Refaunds will only be made for pre-paid appointment reservations in the following cases:
• Appointment cancellation by the center (due to staff shortages).
• Cancellation by the patient: 2 days prior for appointments from Tuesday to Friday and by Friday until 14:00 for Monday appointments.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS OF OUR RESERVATION, CHANGE, AND CANCELLATION POLICY
By reserving an appointment, the patient accepts the conditions set forth in the “Reservation, Change, and Cancellation Policy”.
In no case does ignorance of these general conditions and operating policies exempt the patient from complying with them.and operational policies exempt the interested party or patient from compliance in their relationship with Gala Clinic, so it is recommended that interested parties read this document, and the clinic staff are available to resolve any questions that may arise regarding it.
The management of Gala Clinic reserves the right to modify this document and the general conditions and operational policies contained therein at any time without prior notice to the interested parties and patients when the needs of service provision or the internal operation of the clinic require it.
